Last month, the Young Democrats of South Carolina executive council formally approved its Presidential appointments. Appointed officers are brought on for their expertise or to perform needed tasks for our organization. Their terms run out with the President's, therefore their appointments run to May 1, 2018. This year, our appointed officers are:
PHILLIP DUDLEY of Anderson, who is now our Data Director.
JESSICA BRIGHT of Walterboro, who now serves as our Outreach Director.
IAN RUTLEDGE of Greenville, who now serves as Communications Director.
Bree Maxwell, YDSC's President, also created two officers who will serve on an ad-hoc basis, a Political Director and a Fundraising Director.
PHILLIP CHAMBERS of Spartanburg, an aide to Congressional candidate Chris Fedalei, and SH'KUR FRANCIS of Charleston, an aide to Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg, will serve in these respective roles.
YDA National Committeewoman LAUREN BILTON of Columbia and National Committeeman DERRICK QUARLES of Greenville were retained to their posts.
